Trying out SharpMT

I just found nice app called SharpMT. Looks nice little app for posting blogs to movabletype. Let’s see if this appears on my page :)

MT Version 2.64

I just update Movable type to version 2.64 and just testing that everything works.

Dalai Lama was just today in a town where I live. Frederiksberg Denmark. That’s kinda amazing I did not know that he was here until I saw bunch of people walking on my street wearing some rope instead spring collection from H&M. :)
Too bad, I would it love to hear what he had to say. Especially critism about invadors…

Ups, there wont be IE7 at all…

“Over the last few days, several people have written in with the news that there will be no further standalone versions of Microsoft Internet Explorer. Future enhancements to the browser will only be delivered in the form of operating system upgrades. The news was confirmed by Internet Explorer Program Manager Brian Countryman in a May 7th online chat discussing the changes made to Internet Explorer for Windows Server 2003. He said: “As part of the OS, IE will continue to evolve, but there will be no future standalone installations. IE6 SP1 is the final standalone installation… Legacy OSes have reached their zenith with the addition of IE 6 SP1. Further improvements to IE will require enhancements to the underlying OS.” The next consumer version of Windows, codenamed Longhorn, is due in 2005.

So does this mean that MS is starting finally closing windows into one big packet. It seems that MS has moved their focus from 3 party developers to managers and end users by providing out of the box packet.
There wont be Internet based wysiwyg enviroment on IE if you want to post publish article on the net buy new windows and office with frontpage.
If I would be 3 party developer I would be worried… Hey wait a minute I’am 3 party developer… damn…

MS buys unix rights?

Microsoft agrees to license Unix after SCO Group sends ripples through the Linux industry with claims that its Unix code has been illegally incorporated into the open-source OS.
Hehe.. those bastards in Microsoft.
