Daily work

In short: I build interweb, well not the whole thing but I am leading development in Addition Consulting. Mainly, I’m working with CMS-systems; actually Sitecore CMS to be precise. I work mostly with the large and mid-size companies that are based here in Copenhagen by building solutions to a customer using Microsoft .NET technology. I have been also working with f-e-w PHP based Content Management Systems as a freelancer. Right now I am looking Ruby On Rails and trying to decide whether it is really worth of learning it or not. Update: I am now fully back on Microsoft camp , cool new stuff like Silverlight and Orcas made me stay.

Available for Freelancing

I am also available for Freelancing if you need experienced CMS+XSL+Frontend guy for interesting project just drop me a line. I am developing open-source and standards-based technologies in freelance based.

My name

My full name is Jukka-Pekka Keisala but everyone calls me JP. Jukka-Pekka is a very Finnish name and therefore it is sometimes a bit hard to pronounce by non-Finnish speakers, hence JP. English form of Jukka-Pekka would be John-Peter, in France Jean-Pierre or in Spain Juan-Pedro. My last name Keisala doesn’t really mean anything that I know, it’s just a normal Finnish surname.

I study (read google-it) some genealogy and found out that I belong to Pennala-family tree from Töysä, Finland. Along ~70000 other lucky ones I am one of descendants of Olavi Tuomaanpoika Pennainen (1670-1758) and his wife Kaisa Yrjöntytär Härkölä (1677-1744).
